Scarred

I hate the scars
            I live with
                         But they're mine.

To struggle inside of this shell
                                       Is just fine.

Can't tell you where
                       I'm going,
And a little hazy about where I've been.

Just want to make it through a day without pain.
Want you to hold me
And tell me I'm not insane.

"a little hazy about where I've been". Been there. But we made it. We're still here writing poetry. Keep writing. Jim
