Lost In Time

Time seems to fly,
While present slips by;
Left behind are memories,
Making us smile or sigh.

Bad times don't stay,
Tides will turn someday;
However deep a scar,
Will one day fade away.

Then why recall the past?
Fret over shadows it cast?
Good or bad no matter,
None of it could last.

At times life's a bed of rose,
Or bunch of bodily blows,
What future has in store,
Nobody ever knows.

Dusks turning into dawn,
Life moves on and on,
A brief span it is,
Enjoy until it's gone.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
