Dreaming of Home

I remember a place where I belonged
I was a hero
No one questioned my sanity.
There was peace and bliss
The trees whispered in the wind;
It carried its messages throughout us.
Carefree and sun kissed skin
Growing fonder of life's simplicity
It was fair to say it was my sanctuary
No one knew of this secret
Away from society.
It's a place too far in my memory
But somewhere in my heart I know.
It only exist in musical melodies
In my heart it will always sing to me.
Waiting for my return.
There's no place like home
