Reflection of Tears

I can hear a faint sobbing
It's despair screaming in my soul.
Crying out for help and I can't reach them
Who can it be...?

The sound is so familiar.
Dread heavies my heart
Searching for an answer
A whisper in the dark.

Where's the light?
Has it been long gone?
A broken mirror hung sadly near me
I peered to my reflection
Only to see tears staining my cheeks
Could it be?
That it was always me...

Everlasting Love

Take me away
So far I can't hear the voices again.
Where pain is forgotten.
Then kiss me till my lips are numb.
Fill my ears with your laughter
So I can smile forever
Even in my deepest slumber.
Love me endlessly
And I'll love you till my last breath.
We'll smile to the skies
Live without fears.
Rekindle ourselves in our own sanctuary
Everything I'd give
To make these moments last forever.

Rebel

Now is the time
Where I let go a part of me.
The one who got away from the world
Never let anyone in
For fear didn't let me bond.
There was pain
It lingered in bittersweet happiness
Emerging in unlikely moments.
Tears.
Doubt.
Hopelessness.
No way out.
But, I held on and mingled with it.
Defying it's underlying desires.
It would dance on my emotions.
Holding on.
Then, I let go.
Setting it free.
Depression don't follow me anymore
For I'm a rebel in the darkness.

Dreaming of Home

I remember a place where I belonged
I was a hero
No one questioned my sanity.
There was peace and bliss
The trees whispered in the wind;
It carried its messages throughout us.
Carefree and sun kissed skin
Growing fonder of life's simplicity
It was fair to say it was my sanctuary
No one knew of this secret
Away from society.
It's a place too far in my memory
But somewhere in my heart I know.
It only exist in musical melodies
In my heart it will always sing to me.
Waiting for my return.
There's no place like home
