Wishes

I look out my window,
And gaze at the sky,
I see a shooting star,
As it passes by.

I quickly stand up,
And i close my eyes,
I make my special wish,
As the star dies.

At times i wonder,
Will it ever come true?
Maybe someday soon,
I will be with you.
