Me

I've been through much and I've learned a lot.
I've tried some things I should have not.
I've walked against the flowing tide.
I've laughed a lot and sometimes cried.
Ive built some bridges and crossed some streets.
I've learned some lessons l will never repeat.
I've abused my body and wracked my brain.
I've been the sh** and felt so lame.
I've done a lot and have lots to do.
Ive loved sometimes, not always true.
I've given my all when only half is the order.
Ive taken my fair share and have become quite the hoarder
Ive made friends out of foes
When I should have steered clear.
Ive given my heart and have always been sincere.
Only to find, that my judgment did lack,
The discretion I needed to filter the black.

Life is a big compilation of many events in our life time, so good, some bad, some more memorable than others. But they all have shaped us into who we have become. Don't look back with regret but look at everything as a learning experience. You had to learn who you were. Excellent Bio Theresa.

Poetry is like a conduit to the inside. Very well done. It's nice to meet you.
