Help Wanted

I am looking for work, I am willing and able;
I can do more than set the kitchen table.
I can cook and I do clean, and I'm very sincere;
I should have been voted mother of the year.
I am honest and charming and full of wit;
On the Board of Trustees is where I'd like to sit.

I am looking for something more than I have;
I am searching for someone who needs me bad.
I'm worth a small fortune to the right buyer;
I've got to be someone you truly desire.
Hopefully this may add fuel to your fire;
Maybe it's you I aim to inspire.

If

If I had a flat chest I'd buy some fake boobs,
If I had a pale face, I'd put on some rouge.
If my hair was limp and flat, I'd get a perm or buy a hat.
If my clothes were all wrinkled, ragged and tore,
I'd start a new fad or buy me some moe.
If I need to be pretty, and that I do,
I'd find me a man who cares like you.
You dress me so beautiful, and help me look great ,
And what thanks do I give, except being late?

To Write

My favorite things are the pen and the paper.
I write the words and make them rhyme,
I write the facts about the times.
I write my sorrows, sometimes my failures,
Sometimes what moves me, or what I should savor.

I write down my goals and I cross off my deeds,
I write all my wants and notate my needs.

I write about joy, I write about pain.
I write the same notes over and over again.

Writing has always been easy for me,
It's self-expression that no one else sees.

It helps me sort the wants and the nots,
It gets me over and past the stops.

It helps me to vent when no one else cares,
It keeps my secrets when I shouldn't dare.

It brings back the memories and helps me grow,
It makes me see things that I would never have known.

Corruption

Corruption, It's everywhere; In the air, floating 'round;
From the top of the sky to far below the ground.

Corruption is a very strong force that has plagued our universe.
Much like the Asian Flu that plagues me and you in the winter.

I see it in every walk of life, including a little of my own. If you aren't corrupt, you simply get corrupt. Fight fire with fire or you'll get burned.

Don't blame yourself for teaching your fellow man how to survive in a corrupt system.

It's the POWER that sells corruption. The more power you have, the more corrupt you become. The more corrupt you are, the more power you have.

See it in all places, in many walks and all races.
CIA, FBI, IRS, DEA, just to name a few.

The power of corruption may soon take over you.

Me

I've been through much and I've learned a lot.
I've tried some things I should have not.
 I've walked against the flowing tide.
I've laughed a lot and sometimes cried.
Ive built some bridges and crossed some streets.
I've learned some lessons l will never repeat.
I've abused my body and wracked my brain.
I've been the sh** and felt so lame.
I've done a lot and have lots to do.
Ive loved sometimes, not always true.
 I've given my all when only half is the order.
 Ive taken my fair share and have become quite the hoarder
Ive made friends out of foes
 When I should have steered clear.
Ive given my heart and have always been sincere.
Only to find, that my judgment did lack,
The discretion I needed to filter the black.

I Am

I am weak; I am strong.
I am right; I am wrong.
I am happy; I am sad.
I am good; I am bad.
I am real; I am fake.
I am rabbit; I am snake.

A Prayer

The time has come to cross my path
just to say the least ;
I swear to God it's a fact
the wrath has been my Beast.
For many miles have worn my shoes,
and it's high time I've a bath
To wash away the troubles I have in my past.
 Along with the anguish and pain
Dear Lord I'm asking for your help;
please oh make it rain.

Time

Time is a way to measure
The time on Earth we often treasure.
Time ticks, time is a clock,
Time passes, time never stops.
Time runs out, there's no time left,
Time is of essence, time makes us fret.
This is the time to take the time to listen,
Once time is gone, there's only time missing.
Until next time......
