I am a mystery ...

I am a mystery
Born of a tiny seed
A miracle in deed;
I am a splendid tree

Rising from the pitch dark
Underneath the surface
I stand now tall in grace,
Holding a hidden spark

A face of joy and beauty
Birthing from deep, stark roots
Flavors, flowers and fruits;
I am nature’s bounty

Making music with breeze
Gleaning glory from dew
With birdsongs old and new,
I stay poised, still at ease

Garden, wood, or orchard
I am stoic and silent
Steady and resilient,
Spiraling sure upward

Dancing with willful wind
Glowing in golden sun
Until the day is done;
I am subtly seasoned

In my divine kingdom—
A canopy sacred
With blessings myriad,
I echo eternal wisdom
