I Want To Fly

High High High
Up in the sky
Fly Fly Fly
I want to fly.

Up in the sky
On my joyride
I want to fly
Go far and wide

On my joyride
Soar Soar Soar
Go far and wide
On wings of glee.

Soar Soar Soar
Merry spirit
On wings of glee
Free Free Free.

Merry spirit!
Fly Fly Fly
Free Free Free
High High High.

Stream of Love

Nestled in the woods,
away from sundry glances,
she sleeps in his shadow
and sighs in dusky dreams.

Her melancholic, frozen limbs
ache for the warmth of his orb!

At the dawn of the mellow sphere,
embellished with his golden beams,
she sparkles with his splendor
and smiles at the twilight wonder
as his rosy glow suffuses her being.
Bedecked as a bride in sheer delight,
she serenades merry melodies to his divine sight
and swings in joy with zephyrs.

His glimpse brings her veins to life.
Though far, far beyond her mortal reach,
he inspires her to flow with his rhythm
and exude her ethereal beauty;
she’s a scintillant stream of love!

Spring Blossoms

Nature bursts passion-
Vivid Violet, sunny Orange.
Lusty spring blossoms.

Nature sprouts glamour-
Radiant Red, glossy Green.
Lusty spring blossoms.

Nature pours ecstasy-
Lavish Purple, luscious Peach.
Lusty spring blossoms.

Nature spills bounty-
Flurry of beauty and glory.
Lusty spring blossoms.

On the Doorstep of Spring

I hear a rustle-
A quiet struggle
As emotions entangle.

The wind stirs it
Out from my bosom-
Love in one gust,
Wrath in another!

A tussle.
A ruffle.
A shuffle.
Quiet again!

The cold wind blows
Against the warmth of sun.
The warm sun soothes
Against the cold of wind.

Passion in one whiff,
Ache in another!
Loud and quiet,
Quiet and loud.

Off the branch of memories
Fall the wilted browns;
Bare, bruised trees
Brave the wind.

A clump.
A lump.
A dump…

On the doorstep of spring!

Cloudburst

Your touch on my body
Saw an ocean in a drop
Couldn’t check onrush

A Jar of Olives In Brine

A jar of olives in brine…?...
Add zinger or a punchline,
Let your juicy thoughts trickle,
Let your tangy wit tickle.
The title too must be fine.

Limerick In Focus

All other than serious verse, bogus;
He doesn’t believe in any hocus- pocus.
Ideals! He’d never drop;
But see the funny flip- flop,
Finally, limerick is his focus.

Stripped Naked

Stripped naked to your wily deceit,
You stand hollow with deadly defeat.

Stripped naked to your cruelsome greed,
You stand like a morbid, ugly weed.

Stripped naked to your frail vanity,
You stand sans simple sense, sanity.

Stripped naked to your devious lust,
You stoop lowest, worse than worm in dust.

Quake-shaken, ripped, rob(b)ed off your sheer shame
In glaring-baring; gone is your sham(e).

See your rickety repute crumble,
I know now why you mumble-fumble.

At long last you stand exposed threadbare.
Deny the naked truth if you still dare!

Bare Tree

Nourish me with love,
Lend beauty: lush leaves, flowers.
I stand as bare tree

Empathy

Rolling down the pane
I see drops, what heart shed them
In deep empathy?
