Duration of Existence

Life is a storybook waiting to unfold,
Revealing details of every nature as it goes along.
Starting out with crisp new pages, ready to behold.
Building on the story it starts to take shape,.
The crisp pages are now a little worn.
\Chapter after chapter memories are made.
The unforeseen is unanticipated,
People go and pass.
The worn pages are slightly tattered.
Nothing to hold you back.
Time to have fun with no delays.
Escapades tear the tattered pages.
Some things are forgotten,
Now nearer to the conclusion.
Not a great deal to make known.
Patience is lost while keeping the pages together.
Simply tossed aside, occasionally visited,
Eventually disposed of for it no longer has life.
