Lost
Love lost, never to be found!
That “you are special” feeling just blown away in the wind.
Sparkling eyes have gone dull and grey....
No more jokes or laughter....
Just sadness and tears!
A singing heart has changed it’s tune to sad songs and even the blues.
Where has it all gone wrong? When has the love been lost?
Fighting has become an everyday occurrence...
No more tender touches, no more whispered words of love....
Just screams of hate and intolerance.
I pity loveless souls......
Souls that have stopped singing,
Souls that are crying and dying
Souls searching but not finding
Souls feeling alone even though they are surrounded by a million people!
I pity souls crying to wind, without any solace, without a single friend!
I pity all those souls because they can just never really be free!
