Winter Blues

Winter Blues a Children’s poem

Snow on the ground and all around.
Harsh wind on my back blowing me in every direction.
It’s so cold outside.
Across the road some children have built a snowman. He has no eyes, no nose, no mouth.
The winter is the worst season for me but I was born in January one of the coldest winter months so what can I say.
The coldest month just days after my birthday is in February.
Temperatures get so low and snow turns to ice and black ice always scares me.
This winter I haven’t fallen so thank the Lord for that!

Ayesha, I know the feeling. I was raised in Iowa and Utah is not much better. I think you are in a worst place for snow than I am! This gets the point across!! I am so happy to be a summer baby!!

i can relate to this as i hate the winter months too! i always seem to go downhill in winter...there's some natural internal rhyme going on in this - me/january, low/snow - so maybe you can develop that further...thanks for reading me!
