Winter Blues

Winter Blues a Children’s poem

Snow on the ground and all around.
Harsh wind on my back blowing me in every direction.
It’s so cold outside.
Across the road some children have built a snowman. He has no eyes, no nose, no mouth.
The winter is the worst season for me but I was born in January one of the coldest winter months so what can I say.
The coldest month just days after my birthday is in February.
Temperatures get so low and snow turns to ice and black ice always scares me.
This winter I haven’t fallen so thank the Lord for that!

The children always seem to have fun, though scary for the adults. I also hate the winter months. You've created a wonderful painting with these words :)
