Look Out Below
there is always that day
where I'm down for no reason
whether its the weather or the changing of the seasons
looking down upon the crown of the kings below me
riding high on the horse that I couldn't get to know me
at least not well enough for me to ride up on his back
but sometimes I'd rather stay low and hide out with the rats
for my mind is always stretching
like a tightrope taught and thin
while the walker takes the tightrope puts his foot out and begins
to walk across the line the birds are flying overhead
one look to the golden sky and you could lose the thread
but is it worth the worry to miss the pretty sights
to forget to enjoy happiness for simple fear of heights
the thread it starts to wobble and I jump out from the rope
and I start laughing as I'm falling saying look out below!!!
