The Love Story Told

True love is something pure and true,
And forever I am in love with you.
I wake up in the morning,
Wondering if we’re meant to be.
For I gave you my heart,
And my love and soul you see.
From time to time, my heart goes cold,
Thinking there is someone else you hold.
But I know your love is true,
And eternally my eyes are on you.
My empathy has grown over time,
But now and then, I wonder if you mine.
Mine to touch and mine to hold,
Our love story must be told.
For all the couples near and far,
Know that love can be hard.
Untainted love will never fade,
And a bright path love has made.
For the new couples without a clue,
Know love should always be true.
