The poem(s) are below...

The worst

Of all the terrible demons I hide
The worst are those that assist in demise
The root of my pain, and crippling pride
Through fear and addiction I hold inside

Of all the memories I dare not speak
The worst are those that won't let me sleep
The root of anxiety that's crippling me
Through the agonizing thoughts that keep me weak

Of all the ways I wish I could change
The worst are those that remain the same
The ones that are stapled onto my name
Through painful repetition, they drive me insane

Through all the cold hard lessons I learn
The lack of love is the deepest concern
The fact that I have so much to return
Through this emptiness, I continue to burn.
