Blind Love
All the time, with every breath and with every blink.
Every night before I sleep, I close my eyes and think.
I remember...You. Me. Us, and when we were together.
I remember each and every moment we spent with one another.
I remember all the times you hurt me, and I still feel that pain.
I remember each time you touched me it felt like acid rain.
You told me that you loved me and yet you still put me down.
You made me feel ashamed treating me like dirt off the ground.
You played with me and used me but I still came running back.
You killed me inside. Must have been the courage that I lacked.
You have left a rip in my heart that can never be repaired.
One day you'll see the pain you put me through.
So you had better be prepared.
