This is Poetry

This is poetry
Freedom
You can't be wrong
You can't really be right

This is poetry
It is me in words
It looks nothing like me
Read it how you choose

This is poetry
it has feeling
It has none
It is mine

This is poetry
It is an out of body
Representation
Of my soul

Hello Jacque, I just finished reading your poetry. Yes we the poets write are poemswith our hearts. To me very time I read a poem I get a different meaning, like a Robert Frost poem, A Road Not Taken, every time I read it, I get a different meaning from it. He is my favourite poet.

Yes. And I like how you put that expression together. :)

Poetry is all of that and more, it is whatever the poet chooses it to be. This was really nicely expressed in your words today.
