Grasp His Hand Now
Tragedy is all around,
Sadness tearing at hearts,
Tears are being poured out
And fear is scattered everywhere.
People ask why?
Massacres happening near and far,
Schools are not safe,
Homes are being destroyed
And lives are being afflicted.
People wonder why.
Weapons distributed everywhere,
Not for peace but to take ones life.
Greed and lust fills the mind.
People filled with anger and hate
Lash out at the innocent.
People searching for answers
“Why Lord, why? They ask.
He says, “This is sin, mans way is corrupt.
You must join together in love.
My way is salvation.
Search my word for peace and hope.
Kneel in prayer and believe in me.
I will provide and protect.
I am here!
