Dark Night

In the middle of the night, all alone with my thoughts.
I wonder. If I mean anything at all
And when it comes time, for me to lay my head,
I find myself thinking, what it'd be like to be dead.
But I can't bring myself to it, no not even close.
I'm here for a reason. One I don't even know.
When the daylight comes, and I wake up again,
I find myself working, to avoid such a sin.
I can't pull the trigger, I can't get the knife.
I can't even find the toaster, to help end my life.
My battle moves forward, I will win this war.
It's only for now, that I'm feeling this sore.
My life changes daily. And it's all thanks to you.
Ive been feeling much better. Almost brand new.
