The Way You Are
I look to you for inspiration,
For comfort,
For understanding,
You are the one that I hold on too,
You are the man that I see myself with,
You are the man that I would love to call my husband,
You are a wonderful man,
that any woman in their right mind would love to have.
I put everything in to you,
My faith, my trust and my love.
We look up to you,
You have put us first and it shows in everything you do
And for that, I love and appreciate you,
It shows me what kind of man you are.
A man once told me “how a man treat you now is how he will treat you for the rest
of your life’s together”,
I could not help but to smile
Because I know I have a good one.
You bring me bliss and sanity.
You lay next to me when my body makes you sweat
Because you know I am comfortable,
You get up to cater to my needs,
You fall asleep rubbing on me and when I move you start back.
You love me and it shows.
You love us and that is what matters.
