Offended
Offended
It starts with an offense
the devil presenting his bait
he wants to keep us angry
full of resentment and hate,
he’ll offer his poison
in the form of a wrong
someone coming at us
with words that hurt so strong,
will we dwell on them?
hanging on tight
or will we let love cover
and make things right,
it’s a matter of choice
who will we obey?
God or the devil
who has the final say?
