In the dark of the night

In the quiet
When I touched

The hunger I felt
The magic was real
I won't call you
I don't want you know
It's easier to let go
I wanted more
Than one night with you
But I won't beg
My pride won't let me
You don't know
the road I've been down
And I don't want you to
There's no room
In my crazy life
So I tell myself
It's easier this way
I should be ashamed
Begging you to touch
Me that way
My loneliness
My desperation caved in
Still my desperation remains
The magic was real
Something I never knew
Until that monent
my lips touched you
So I only think of you
