Undieing Love

As I walk along the miles of beach though the burning sand
Thoughts run though my mine, when you were with me holding my hand
I look out across the blue waters, the mist dancing in the sun's rays
Its been so long since we have walked together, it's hard to remeber the days

We had a love that was so strong, a love that we knew would never die
But now I walk the beaches on my own, sadness in my heart , tears in my eyes
Though I walk along I know the day will come . when we will be together , my
friend
Again we will walk the beaches hand in hand, for a love like ours never ends

I take my tired old hands and wipe the tears from my ageing eyes
Put my trembling fingers together , raise my head to look into the sky
I try to smile and then say a few words that I know you are going to hear
It will not be long the day is near, again I will be with you, my love my dear

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
