I Let Her Drive

I let her drive

I let her drive,
I was too tired and had to close my eyes,
I soon fell into a gentle sleep,
Only to be awakened by a loud BEEP,
My body now has been rearranged.
They all wastefully rush to put me back together again.
 yet, it was too late.
I am now here in the here after.
Looking down I see her crying for me
As she continues to say to this day,
" I 'm sorry I also feel asleep. "

Painful & sad. Gripping emotion here. Very good job, Linda.
