I Am

I AM

     I am
                  a student and a teacher,
                       a doctor and a patient,
a maid and a home owner,
a physiologist and a nervous wreck,
                                      a lawyer and the defendant,
                     a leader and a follower,
                           a cook and the quest,
                               a believer and a doubter,
full of laughter and a crier,
                                     a dreamer and a realistic,
                                        a lover and a fighter,
a song writer and a music listener,
                         am gentle and rough,
a team player and I play alone,
                              a doer and I delegate,
                                  a boss and an employee,
                                       am young and old,
a day dreamer and always observant,
an open book and a ignima,
                                    am proud and ashamed,
am full of trust, and look for deceit,
love to sing and hate noise,
                                                      am clueless and know all,
love to be out side , and a shut in,
                                       a queen and the jester,
                                              police officer and the criminal,
an animal lover and a conivore,
                                                          a saint and a sinner,
                                     Judge and the jury,
                                                strong and weak,
                                                  someones friend and someones foe,
                                                       someones past and someones future,
                                                               memorable and forgettable,
                                                                   zealous and unenthusiastic,

I am all of these things and more.

                                                 I am Linda Anne.

I Let Her Drive

I let her drive

I let her drive,
I was too tired and had to close my eyes,
I soon fell into a gentle sleep,
Only to be awakened by a loud BEEP,
My body now has been rearranged.
They all wastefully rush to put me back together again.
 yet, it was too late.
I am now here in the here after.
Looking down I see her crying for me
As she continues to say to this day,
" I 'm sorry I also feel asleep. "
