Welcome

Let me take you to a place I know very well
I'll warn you now it's a lot like hell
Where you'll meet a girl unknown even to herself
She's become such a stranger
Chasing dreams down a river of tears filled from pain and anger
Where you're nightmares become your reality
And drugs are the only thing that will set you free
Where you're lost and confused
Welcome to a place where you're emotionally abused
Walking down a hallway where every door is locked
You'll have that feeling of abandonment as no one answers
Even as you knock
The one person that was able to help has moved on
And you're starting to realize that you're not as strong
It's a place of heartache and corruption
A place full of self destruction
Filled with disturbed thoughts and twisted ways
Where attachment is feared 'cause no one ever stays
Welcome to my world

You have described a world a lot of us share. This is one world where we don't want to be most of the time. This is a decent write.
