I knew that day
Underneath the skies
By the look
In those deep blue eyes
From now till the end
It was you and me
Our love was meant to be
It was meant to be

The way my heart beats
To the core it's so real
A passion that I know 
Is more than real
Never before
Have I felt so free
Babe it was meant to be
Yes meant to be

That smile on your face
Your long blonde hair
Still makes me pause
When I stop and stare
And the taste of your lips
Makes me weak in the knees
Cause it was meant to be

Your my heavenly light
And all the beauty beneath
The reason for living
The air that I breath 
The one I tremble for
And makes my heart skip a beat
