That Is Where Love Ended

It hurts deep.
Deeper than 1,000 graves of former slaves.
She broke my heart, into pieces that would never get put back together.
I thought we would be together forever.
Never!
She crushed my soul.
From this point on I will never feel whole.
We failed a test we should have passed.
Our love was solid, I thought it would last.
Ii crashed!
I will never take another chance.
In love that is.
That is where love ended.
