One Hundred and One Miles

One hundred and one miles between.

A distance far more than the usual,

but not enough to lose the connection.

While I wait, wondering when I'll get that to feel

that next caress or that next kiss,

I can only dream what of the future may hold.

A longing to see someone so dear,

to feel his skin,

to smell his cologne,

to hear his voice,

to be held in his arms,

to make him laugh and feel as good as myself.

One hundred and one miles between

and our love still grows,

awaiting for an even more beautiful blossom

that will never wilt over.
