Send Me All Your Love

The way you say my name,
Like no one elses is the same
No one else can make me feel this way
'i love you' is all that I can say
So you can send me all your love

The way you smile at me,
Because you see in me what no one else can see
You understand all my quirks
And know how each one works
So you can send me all your love

The way my body feels next to yours
It's things like this that my heart adores
There's nothing else I'd rather do,
Than spend my time with you
So you can send me all your love

The Meeting

I will meet my dad.
I feel confusion and fear
underneath my joy.

I Love You Too

looking for our place on the line of like or love
emotions soaring in the sky like a lost dove
the one lonely bird just trying to make its way
the little bird just needs one friend to make it stay
having this companion is more than enough
but one without the other, and life gets tough
two doves on the line of love, trying to get through
when all the one wanted to say, was i love you too

What Goes Unsaid

You baby, you set my heart on fire
Your love is the only thing worth my desire
Nervous rattles my body, anticipation fills my veins
My love for you is the only way I can explain
Being together is the sole thing keeping me from falling
Because without you here, my life would be stalling
Just steady going through the motions, hoping and waiting
To hear you say those words again, with no debating
To feel your warm embrace, and a kiss upon my face
Nothing means more to me than being by your side
Even if it goes unsaid, ''I love you' is simply implied

Christmas Gift

After all the waiting, this day has finally arrived
And this christmas spirit has finally revived
Waking early ready to see wonderful boxes and bows
But there is one small present topped with a rose
One quick glance and her face glows red
Worried because of the tears she might shed
Slowly unwrapping the neat little gift
Very pleased, she feels her weight lift
Unsure of what to do, she whispers 'I love you'
With a warm hug and kiss, he says 'I love you too'

Everything

How did this happen
Without you love means nothing
You are everything

Open Heart

my emotions vulnerable to your seduction
my love taken by your abduction
feeling your presence, a wonderful essence
open heart, open mind, open arms, all the time

dreaming of the day when i say "i do"
dreaming of the day when im only with you
hearing your voice, i know i made the right choice
open heart, open mind, open arms, all the time

seeing your face, my heart begins to race
seeing your face, then our lips embrace
held in passion, love in action
open heart, open mind, open arms, all the time

Changing Seasons

Shamefully dull, life would be,
Without seasons to nourish me.
Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall,
Nature’s blessings the nourish us all

Apathetic and harsh, winter is,
With arctic gales that pierce
Every linen shielding my frame.
Anomalous flakes of snow drift from the sky
As sheets of white accumulate on the ground
And weigh down the healthiest trees,
Teasing those ready for winter festivities.
Once the snow angels and snowmen are made, and
Once the sledding and snowball fights are done,
Into their warm homes, all will run,
Hiding under hoards of fleece
Until it’s time for spring to come free.

Pleasant and lively, spring is,
With liber rains falling lavishly
On soil beds of assorted seeds,
Nursed diligently by the avid gardeners
Who thirst for the sight of the first blossoms
Of poppies, roses, lilies, and tulips.
Blueberries, cherries, and strawberries
Entice the onlookers waiting to pick
The ripest harvest in a timely manner
And savoring them until summer can flare.

Fierce and fervent, summer is
With a feverish breath, that makes rain a treasure.
People gather in masses to absorb the bodies of water
As a radiant sun desiccates the land.
Outdoors, pitchers of lemonade are carried everywhere
And thriving honeysuckle sweeten the air.
Yellow lights of fireflies flicker through the night
As exhausted bodies relax beneath the stars,
Gazing in admiration, until autumn can appear

Calm and homely, autumn is
Wither green, red, and yellow foliage taking over.
Crisp leaves bustle about the ground,
Trapped by flurries of whirring winds
Until they are raked into heaps for children to dive in
And pumpkins growing in preparation to carved or baked.
Families huddle together around brilliant fires
While couples stroll through parks, taking delight in the landscape,
And having picnics until winter’s brisk rise.

Daddy

my heart for you, is ripped in two
after all the troubles, i am through
time after time you made me suffer
but its all done, my soul is ruptured
i used to wonder why, but now its clear
that pointless, was each and every tear
no more crying over you, im done
now do like before and just run
you wont be an adult, so someone has to step up
too bad that it was me, because i only give up
i hope these words burn into your mind
but too bad for us, there is no rewind
i want these lyrics to scar you forever
like you did to me, but i was clever
unlike you, these words will never leave
love from me, you will never receive
