I will Bleed for You
I'LL BLEED FOR YOU
I will bleed for you if I have to. Lay down my life for you. I will give you my essence, every last piece of me that this life will allow.
I will give you my strength when yours begins to fail. I will lend you my courage when fear finds its way to you. And when the world becomes too heavy, come home.
Come home to me.
I will hold you when the world has been unkind. I will wipe your tears even when mine are falling too. I will sit beside you in the darkness until you find your way back to the light.
I may not always know how to make everything right.
But I promise you this—
I will always try.
I will fight battles you may never know I fought. I will whisper your name into prayers you may never hear. I will worry about you even when you tell me not to.
I will carry your burdens when your shoulders become too tired. And when I cannot carry them for you, I will walk beside you until you are strong enough to carry them yourself.
Because you came from me.
Not just from my body, but from somewhere deeper—somewhere words cannot reach.
A piece of my heart learned to live outside my chest the day you came into this world.
And perhaps that is motherhood: giving someone your heart and watching them grow with a piece of you beating inside them.
So go.
Live. Fall. Rise. Make mistakes. Find yourself. Become everything you were born to be.
I will not always be able to walk every road with you.
But wherever life takes you, remember this:
There will always be a woman somewhere in this world who will pray for you when you cannot pray for yourself. Who will ache when you hurt. Who will rejoice when you rise. Who will celebrate your victories as though they were her own.
A woman who would bleed for you.
A woman who would give every last breath she had if it meant you could have one more.
I am that woman.
I am your mother.
