TV Thievery of Summer

Past times I’ve failed to
Enjoy fully, because
Of the many screens

 To spend my night in
  Loud or quiet times, and sure
 To sleep in so late

 Oh TV  screens you
 Steal my sleep, my summer and
 My life, not this time

Christopher Haywood Date: 5/23/2026 3:55:00 AM I like this and wish many of the younger generation would read it. You are right that electronics are mesmerizing and if you let them, they will steal enjoyment time. It would be better to companion with the "real-world" for experiences and real fun and sever the relationship with electronics. Can you imagine leaving your cell phone alone for a full day?

Wisdom will judiously choose which program to watch and which to refuse among the thousands available.
