Friends
You have people, you have friends throughout your life,
Ones that help you to banish away all the strife.
They help you to be happy, to push away the hate,
They are the only ones, who hold the key to life's gate.
With them you grow stronger, to fulfill your destiny,
Loyal to you in tough times, no matter what they be.
We all need friends, for help and support,
To stand by you, to be your personal escort.
Yet please remember what they've done, when they have times of trial,
Be there to help, to be there to advise, and to please make them smile.
So please don't lose your friends, you allies,
For if you do, it will soon be your demise.
Not even the best can hope to stand alone,
Even they will fall, collapse, and moan.
Be thankful for this day for all of your friends,
Because the good ones will stick with you until the very end.
