I Am Still Standing
I was not born extraordinary…
just a simple girl with simple dreams.
But life…
had its own plans for me.
It didn’t always give me what I wanted—
instead, it gave me what I needed to grow.
I have loved… deeply.
Sometimes more than I should have.
And in that love, I found both happiness… and pain.
There were moments I broke—
quietly, silently…
where no one could see,
and no one could hear.
But somehow… I never stopped.
I kept walking.
Even when the road felt endless.
Life taught me lessons
I never asked for…
but today, I carry them like strength.
I am not perfect.
I have made mistakes.
I have lost parts of myself along the way.
But I am still here.
As a woman…
as a mother…
as someone who still believes in tomorrow.
My daughter…
she is my heart walking outside my body.
In her, I see hope.
In her, I see a future brighter than my past.
If I could give her anything,
it wouldn’t be a perfect life…
but the strength to face an imperfect one.
Because that…
is what truly makes us strong.
Today, I don’t wish for an easy life.
I wish for peace.
For understanding.
For moments that feel real and meaningful.
My story is not over.
It is still being written…
with every choice, every fall, every rise.
And maybe…
that’s the beauty of it.
Not perfection—
but persistence.
Not a perfect ending—
but a story that never truly ends.
