Intuition

Suddenly, it hit me.
When those guys I said I had the most intense feelings for and called it love
That wasn't love.
That was my nervous system
Screaming at me to choose something different
Those loves were never lost because
They left my nervous system a wreck.
It has been years since I've felt anything
Meeting him changed that fate.
I've been here before.
My voice felt small and he took my breath away.
But he was painted so perfect and matched every dr
eam I wished.
My body clung to control
Holding my tongue
His interest wasn't good faith
To him I was a threat.
I responded with the fear before I could see that.
My body remembers the outcomes from the past 2
Sparks that I called love
Were the 2 that hurt the most.
I remember the spark.
This was a warning.
