Home

If home is a place
Then I lost my map
Hearts got misplaced
Vocal cords snap

I scream and yell for one more chance
Then beg and plea for some closure
My legs are tired of this dance
Now I've lost my composure

Teary eyed and red
Weight gained and lost
All the blood I've shed
Promises given with fingers crossed

Lies spread around
Passing from friend to friend
Yet I prayed you'd turn around
And hoped I dreamt this end

Now that door is closed and rusted
And I'm in my bed alone
I've lost the person I trusted
And all I've ever known
