In the Silence of Your Eyes

In the silence of your eyes, I see the truth,
A universe unfolding, still and uncouth.
Your gaze—an ocean, deep and untamed,
Where I lose myself, never the same.

Each breath I take, I breathe for you,
A love so fierce, so raw, so true.
You are the sun that burns my soul,
A fire so bright, it makes me whole.

Through shadows of doubt, I wandered blind,
Chasing the fragments I couldn’t find.
But in your arms, I learned to see,
The woman I am, the woman I’ll be.

You heal my scars with tender grace,
A soft touch in the darkest place.
In your love, I am reborn,
No longer lost, no longer torn.

Together, we are an endless song,
A melody where hearts belong.
Your love, a symphony of dreams,
Where every note is all it seems.

In your kiss, I taste my name,
The echoes of a love untamed.
And in your heart, I’ve found my home,
No longer wandering, no longer alone.

I am yours, and you are mine,
Bound by a love that transcends time.
In every lifetime, through every space,
We will find each other, face to face.

And as the stars in darkness gleam,
I see the woman I’ve always been.
Strong, yet soft, fierce, yet kind,
In you, my love, I’ve found my mind.

What a lucky duck by whom I mean the source of your requited love, which precious treasure less applicable to me and mine, which missus attempts to assuage emotional ruptures and subsequent repairs leaving psychological scars toughened by coping with resilience in concert with prescription medications (nine) to manage mental health challenges such as social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, dysthymia (mild depression) that plagued these lovely bones from birth to present moment.
