Poem 72

Day in, day out.
We walk and walk.
Night in, night out.
We talk and talk.

Wondering if the other is real.
We think and think.
Hoping the other is real.
We pray and pray.

Technology controlling fate.
We wait and wait.
Communication grows weak.
We strive and strive.

Is this a dream?
We pinch and pinch.
Will it last forever?
We yearn and yearn.
