Drag them with you

They took and took
Never looking to see if there would be anything left
That fire that once shown so bright
Nothing but a husk of an ember
Yet they continue to try taking
Nothing left but ashes
Still they take but now they choke
I’m nothing but dust now
But they choke
They cry
As tears run from their eyes

It seems they took too much
I turned to poison in their throats
Sunk into their souls and made them fill with rot

How sweet the sight
I may have rotted to nothing but at last
I’m dragging them down with me and the plummet is a sight beautiful beyond compare
