Paradise Is Falling

the lawns are strewn in paradise
roses stained, unsweetened
beauty is bleeding
can we lick these festering sores?

my days are alchemy
as I exhaust to turn a gold
and paradise is falling

Hello Clive, your poem evokes a poignant sense of loss amidst beauty's decay. The imagery of roses stained and beauty bleeding is hauntingly powerful. Your words artistically capture the struggle to salvage paradise amidst decay, echoing the relentless pursuit of alchemy in our daily lives. - Blessings, Daniel
