A Call to Light

A Call to Light
On this day the deafening silence breaks,
In soft whispers, an agonizing cry awakes.
For those who’ve walked or crawled on edges so thin,
Their unseen battles fought long and hard within.

Our hearts are with you both near and far,
We'll be a light and your guiding star,
No longer will you ever feel all alone,
Or hide in the shadows where the pain has grown.

Let not the crushing weight of sorrow fall,
Take my hand or never hesitate to call.
I'll extend a warm voice and show how much I care,
No longer will you have to hide or live in fear.

Today we stand united as one for this cause,
Our hopes and dreams renewed without question or pause.
And for every tear and every silent plea,
We break the silence and let kindness flow like the sea.

All it takes is a listening ear and a steady hand,
The simple things will no doubt help you stand.
Let's break the chains of this stigma's hold,
And let love and support boldly unfold.

To all who struggle or still live in deep fear,
We'll stand beside you and vow to always be here.
You’re never alone in this dark, tormenting fight,
Together, we’ll forget the past and go forward into the light.
