Echoes Of Conflict

Should I mute the whispers echoing within,
Or let them spill, unfiltered and raw?
Should I end the chatter, or should I war,
Against the voices that I can't ignore?

Should I erase the people who haunt me,
Or should I end my own existence?
Should I vanish, or remain in this existence,
Amidst the ones who make me feel so wretched?

What should I do with the pain my loved ones brings,
The weight they places on my shoulders?
What should I do with the warmth that eludes me,
The comfort that seems forever out of reach?

What should I do with the anger that consumes me,
The fire that burns within my soul?
Should I channel it or let it take control,
And watch as it destroys everything whole?
