A Pain in the Glass
mirror, mirror on the wall
are you just another contest
talk to me, is my call
help me in my life's quest
where is my destiny
“it is within
but also without
it is in
and roundabout”
this is a riddle
“yes and you're in the middle”
you're no help at all
“then you must set your stall”
“don't be a fool
listen with your heart
clever ain't always cool”
well now we're making a start
so where is my pathway
“it's for you to decide
but love living for today
live loving on the ride”
can't you help me choose
I am afraid of the trend
“if I do you will lose
and blame an ex friend”
this is taking an eternity
“true time does quickly pass”
enough, I’ll have to get me
a new looking glass
