2023

radicalized
almost hypnotized
evangelized
nationalized

the undereducated
easily manipulated
all of it so calculated
anger quickly cultivated

from one cult to another
with the ferver of a lover
new beliefs to discover
greater hatred for the other

to reality now blind
fear and hatred combined
true solutions undefined
striking terror in mankind

will this hatred cease
violence decrease
or divisions just increase

Will we ever know our peace?

Lovely use of rhyme here, Fran. Nice piece for our peace.

A fine piece on this year Fran, with good imagery and insightful line of thought too. Take care, Gordon
