The Only Star For Me
With Christmas rapidly approaching there is only one star for me
That I need to keep my gaze on so I can be all that He wants me to be
The North Star is my compass through life's ups and downs
Its sparkly beam shines brightly over all the little towns
Casting its long shadow on the cold and dark night sky
Giving hope to the future to come as the clouds roll by
For it worked for Mary and Joseph coming to Bethlehem
With a show of faith in God He humbly led them
To their place of need on a cold winters night
To protect the most precious gift who would soon once again set things right
