Greg the Ram

Whilst grazing quietly in the paddock
Greg the ram contemplated havoc

It had been an exciting fortnight since
He’d made his despairing owners wince

Bored out of his skull by life on the farm
He had decided to chance his arm

Using his thick woolly coat in defense
He'd shot under the electric fence

He busted the neighbours gate latch
And destroyed their vegetable patch

Then spent a couple of happy hours
Trampling on prize winning flowers

The hullabaloo was enormously fun
He was experiencing life on the run!

Whereas life before had been passive
Now his desire for adventure was massive

Now Greg plans escapes all day long
Watching for opportunity to come along

And his owners nerves are shredded
Turns out... Greg is not woolly-headed

Hi such a fun poem. I like the way you used boredom as a theme in this entry. The mischief it can trigger is unpredictable. And I like how you connected this to the behaviour of sheep. There's many a woolly escepologist on the farm :-D thank you for your entry and congrats on your placement.
