Marriage

Maybe for some but not for me
At least that's the way it appears to be
Right or wrong that's what I see
Really isn't bad though being free
I never believed someone held the key
At least I'm sure it wasn't he
Going to be happy is what say she
Even if there will never be a we

nice to see your self confidence, now of course you will meet "the one"..... marriage for me is a committment of the soul to someone. You can only really be married if you can be yourself entirely within the marriage. Those that make it work really have a holy experience.

In most cases it is not just the child growing up. Marriage and children develops adults if they are willing to grow and change but some get stuck and it is hard to know which ones will grow and change. I like the way you approached the subject of this poem. Keep writing. Sara

go go gal! marriage is meant to protect and provide for children while they grow up...in alot of cases it's not just the child growing up..Light & Love to you!
