Silent Death
Darkness surrounds me, engulfing my face.
Cold and unfeeling, heart starts to race.
Fear so intense, hands start to shake.
Legs begin bending as if they would break.
Looking around but nothing to see.
Charging the soul, given to me.
Controlling my breath, wont let me be.
The weight so unyeilding, I wanted to scream.
Nothing erupted, could not make a sound.
Feeling so helpless, unstable ground.
The shadow of death has taken a stand.
No longer waiting but grabbing my hand.
Life force diminished, no longer exists.
There'll be no more grieving, just heavenly bliss.
