Nightmare

She was just a little girl
Just as precious as a pearl
No one knew what she was inside
She was such a perfect bride
To the most well-known man in town
Dragging down the aisle, a pretty white gown
The man was indeed lucky, or so they thought
It was her, that night, who won the jackpot
While everyone else was busy sleeping
She was still up, creeping
Through the hallways and past the sink
Soon, was to turn red, her pretty lips, painted pink
What happened next? Nobody knew
When they saw, no one could ask, "Was it you?"
More because she wasn't at all a suspect
The husband lay there dead,
she cried but, no one knew, it was all pretend
They thought she was the 'pretty in pink, perfect girlfriend'
She knew just how to blend
To his mother, she was a best friend
She saw blood dripping off his body,
Just the thought, made her so happy
Because she was certainly the murderer
You can cry, murmur or whisper
She doesn't care
She is a real-life nightmare

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
