When it comes to you

When it comes to you,
I know I am doing something right.
I have always known it from the start.
It's the way you just smile sometimes
On the sunny days that seem like nothing special
And you hold up my umbrella for us
And we walk hand in hand
And all I can see is you
Guess I have never mentioned it before

When it comes to you
I know I am doing something right
The universe seem to have aligned for me
It's how you can make everything better
My fatigue
My mind
My pain
Even my words
It surprises me
How I am coherent to you
Seems like you hear my heart and mind.

When it comes to you,
I know I am doing something right
It's the way you can come see me even on rainy days
And walk with me even for a thousand miles
How I can take you everywhere
Even for things you have no business relating

When it comes to you
I know I am doing something right
It's how you can cook for me
Even so repeatedly
Like it's nothing
How you can take care of me
Like it's the most natural thing in the universe
How you just bought a bandage because I was bleeding
It didn't matter I had my own

When it comes to you
I know I am doing something right
It's how I can tell your sincerity without even a word
I don't question you, I just know
And I don't even have to hear you say love me
Though I did like to hear it a 1000 times
I know it in my hearts of hearts
And I can listen to your breath
With your body so warm like a snuggly blanket
And how I can look into your eyes sometimes
Well I believe I have arrived at my destination.
